What is our dare2care project?

Motivated by compassion for the most vulnerable in our society, we recognise the dignity and worth of every individual. Our charity welcomes all people, regardless of background, belief, nationality, or disability.

We are proud to work alongside statutory agencies, community and voluntary organisations, and local businesses, all united by a shared goal, tackling poverty in our community.

More Than A Food Bank

Providing food is so much more than providing relief and alleviating symptoms of food poverty. The hand that hands the bag of food is the hook that says we care. It is a step into the family unit that allows us to journey alongside each person striving to eradicate poverty and ensure positive life changes for disadvantaged people for as long as they need support.

Advice & Support

Dare2Care does not just provide food, we provide emotional support, we listen and we will signpost to the appropriate agency when necessary.

Via Wings Promotes a Nutritious Diet

With our wide variety of fresh, frozen and ambient food, we make it easy and affordable to cook healthy meals for your family.

We encourage creativity with cooking and offer a meal suggestion each week.

Fareshare Projects

The Larder

This is our social supermarket service that aims to create a bridge to independence from our Dare2Care food service.

The Larder

The Archway

Our Fresh Food Project provides an accessible space for the whole community to pick up fruit, vegetables, bread, and other items that might otherwise have gone to landfill. Through this initiative, we not only support local families but also play our part in reducing food waste.
