Via Wings Provides 1-1 support from a trained Counsellor to help with issues related to mental health and dealing with crisis or addiction.

We have 5 counsellors who work out of our wellbeing centre. Thanks to funding, we have been able to provide 55 free counselling sessions each month to people in our community. Wellbeing Centre
Our wellbeing centre is a safe space offering complementary therapies such as counselling, mindfulness, yoga, breathing techniques and more. It is our belief that everyone should be given the opportunity to learn tools to help support them as they work towards managing their mental health. Everyone deserves an opportunity to try new things. Poor mental health can hit anyone, at any age, at any time and often is a scary place to be. Its good to talk and as we talk and share our stories giving hope and acceptance to break the stigma that struggling mentally is something is to be ashamed of. It’s good to talk, it’s brave to talk and it’s ok to say HELP.

Our team of counsellors can help you cope with issues related to mental illness such as depression, anxiety or fears.

Via Wings counsellors can help you handle difficult emotions such as low self esteem or anger.

We can also help you deal with other issues that are not listed here, for example sexual identity, loss of a loved one, and covid lockdowns.
What To Expect From Counselling
During Counselling
At your appointment you will be encouraged to talk about your feelings, emotions and experiences with a trained therapist. Your dedicated therapist will listen and support you through your sessions with no criticism or judgement. Your therapist will help you gain a better understanding of your feelings and thought processes, and find your own solutions to your problems. They work alongside you to help you gain a better understanding of yourself by helping break down your issues into manageable chunks.

Mentoring is the process of helping and guiding an individual to support their personal development and help that individual become the best version of themselves.
