Our projects currently include Dare 2 Care, which provides essential provisions to local families in need. We run Food For The Soul, our catering project for vulnerable adults, Recycled Teenagers our social group for older people, Side by Side mentoring and support programme and Houses to Homes helping people to care for and improve their properties. New projects are in the pipeline as we move to new bigger premises to enable our growth in supporting some of the most vulnerable in the local community.
Our Social Enterprise: the Hope & Soul Shop and Olive Branch Cafe which helps fund our charity’s work opened in June 2012 and is going from strength to strength. We invite you to visit our shabby-chic shop and quirky tea room where you can enjoy a nice cup of tea/coffee made by our own baristas and fresh home-baked scones, tray bakes and goodies or a speciality sandwich/panini/wrap or soup of the day.
You can find out more about who we are, what we’re doing and events that are coming up by coming into Hope & Soul Shop itself and speaking to a member of staff. Maybe you’d like to join one of our groups or even volunteer yourself- we would be delighted to hear from you.
Everyone has something to offer, whether its hands-on help or a donation via our JustGiving page or dropping a donation into us– every £1 helps support someone or give them invaluable help. You may not even realise what help you can be until you have come and spoken with us. New friendships form here every day!
